4. SAP Basis Consultant
Qualifications:
This position has been established as a 12-hour night shift position which starts at 6:30 pm and ends at 6:30 am.
The schedule rotates every eight weeks and requires working some holidays that fall on the 12-hr shift, working Saturdays or Sundays that fall on the 12-hr shift, and covering additional hours on weekends when extended coverage is requested.
This job is setup in order to provide 24-hour coverage for the various SAP production environments (BI, ECC6, SRM, SCM, PI, CCM, Portal, and SolMan).
Responsibilities:
Analyze, create, modify, execute, & monitor all SAP batch processes. This includes updating a daily ops workbook, capturing run times, sending output as documented, adjusting processes during scheduled upgrades or emergencies, monitoring & updating process chains in both SAP & UC4, updating UC4 as requested by clients, plus addressing process chain failures, & restarts as documented or requested.
Job also includes verifying archive components, scheduling, executing, & verifying payment runs, capturing system outages, response time stats, & user counts, managing & monitoring BDC sessions, & moving urgent transports into production.
Act as central point of contact during month-end close process.
Verify close results, compile close stats, block & unblock accounts, open/close periods and communicate through consistent/frequent voice & e-mail messages, system messages, & web page updates.
Provide second tier support for prod.

Qualifications:
Minimum Required
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
7 years IT experience required
3 years application /system deployment or related experience required
3 years PM or process development experience required
1 year application or system development experience desired
Project Management Professional desired
Prior experience leading and managing IT and/or utility industry programs in a medium to large enterprise
Deep understanding of and experience with Portfolio, Program and Project Management functions and best practices
Technology generalist with experience in the technology and/or utility industries
Experience in technology strategy and roadmap development Desired
ITIL certification desired

Responsibilities Deployment
Assist the implementation & deployment lead and project manager by identifying, assessing, selecting, and documenting deployment strategies and providing deployment schedules, staffing plans, and budget estimates.
In parallel with the Program and Project Delivery Group, provide an integrated deployment plan to ensure successful deployment of all ISTS application projects.
Lead the deployment effort for select IT projects by preparing detailed deployment plans (including contingency, mitigation, and roll-back plans), preparing & executing detailed deployment work plans (tasks, durations, resources estimates, & checkpoints), and establishing & managing control rooms.
Plan, lead, and evaluate simulations and pilots as needed by projects to evaluate options, manage risk or demonstrate operational readiness.
Manage the operational readiness tests (ORT) by assembling test plans including test cases
